Wolf Pack Sliders

Amy Dear has been making these little sandwiches for as long as I’ve known her. They are quick and so easy to make. Amy makes them often for tailgating in the Grove. She also brings them along on vacation for a quick lunch. More than once, I’ve seen Charlie or Jackson, Amy’s sons, grab the container from the fridge, scoop out some of the meat mixture, pop it in the microwave to warm, and then spread it on buns for their lunch. Self-sufficiency at its best! Add these to your next Friday Night Porch Party menu.

Wolf Pack Sliders

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground sausage

1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed

3 teaspoons Worcestershire

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

36-48 Hawaiian rolls

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown the ground beef and sausage together. Drain off fat. Add in the cheese, Worcestershire, oregano and garlic. Stir until combined well and cheese is melted. Adjust seasonings. Spoon a heaping tablespoon into each bun and place on a baking sheet. Cover with tinfoil and bake about 10 minutes.
