Grove Crackers

Our family is a member of a Grove Group called The Grass Porch. We gather for all Ole Miss home games in the same spot at the top of Sorority row and very near the Union and the Hotty Toddy potty. Our group has some of the best cooks in Mississippi. Along with boiled peanuts, I take Grove crackers to every game. Everyone loves them! Sometimes I serve them with a dip, but usually just alone. They make a great game day snack.

Grove Crackers

Ingredients:

1 box of regular Cheezits

1 box of Cheezit Grooves, white cheddar

1 box mini Club crackers

1 box mini saltine crackers

1 1/2 cups oil

2 packages dry Ranch seasoning mix

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons red pepper flakes

Directions:

Combine oil, Ranch packages, garlic powder and red pepper in a small bowl and set aside. Empty the crackers into a large zip lock bag. Pour the oil mixture over the crackers and seal the bag. Toss the zip lock bag back and forth ensuring all the crackers are coated. I lay the bag flat on my kitchen counter and flip it back and forth throughout the day allowing the crackers to soak up the oil mixture.

We loved getting to celebrate our friend Beth's 50th birthday at a recent Friday Night Porch Party.
