Emeril's Tartar Sauce


For most of my adult life when I needed a recipe, I began my search with Paula Dean and Emeril. I still love them both, but have now added others to that list. I wanted to be sure to include Emeril’s Tartar Sauce recipe on the website since it’s my favorite. However, be warned because it’s not the typical tartar sauce. It’s so full of flavor it will take your fish to a new level.













Emeril's Tartar Sauce for Fish


Ingredients:


1 cup mayonnaise

2 teaspoons Zatarain's Creole Mustard

1/4 cup dill pickles, finely chopped

2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped

2 tablespoons green onion, finely chopped (green parts only)

1 tablespoon capers, finely chopped

1 tablespoon parsley

Dash of hot sauce

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon


Directions:


Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until use.
