Crystal Crackers

Y’all, I’m obsessed with Crystal Sauce’s new “Extra Hot” version. I’ve been a Crystal sauce lover for years, but recently, I happened upon this new stuff at the Ramsey’s grocery store in Flora, Mississippi. I had to try it. For my first try, I combined it with mayonnaise to make a spicy mayo for fried chicken sliders. I was hooked! When I happened upon the new Ritz Cheese Crispers, I knew I had to try and combine the flavors. Personally, it’s my favorite new snack mix. Try it this Friday night for your friends.

Crystal Crackers

Ingredients:

1 12-ounce box regular Cheez-it crackers

1 7-ounce box Ritz cheddar Cheese Crispers

1 8-ounce box Ritz Cheese Bits

1 6 ounce box Better Cheddar crackers

1 6-ounce box goldfish snack crackers

1 ½ cup Orville Redenbacher’s butter flavored oil

½ cup Crystal “Extra Hot” hot sauce or your favorite hot sauce

2 packages dry ranch seasoning

4 tablespoons white cheddar popcorn seasoning

Directions:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Combine the oil, ranch, hot sauce, and popcorn seasoning in a large bowl. Add all of the snacks and crackers and toss until everything is well coated. Transfer to several cookie sheets. Bake about 30-45 minutes until everything has browned a bit and is dry. Stir occasionally while baking. Remove from the oven. Let cool and store in large zip lock bags.
